Construction water is defined as water used for: grading, land preparation or construction on any parcel or lot in Gilbert. In accordance with Gilbert Ordinance #1437, construction water from fire hydrants shall not be used on parcels or lots of ten acres or more in size (gross). The fees for a 3 inch meter are as follows:
Deposit = $1000.00*
Installation Fee = $54.80
Monthly Base Fee = $328.88
Usage Fee = $9.58/1,000 gallons
*The deposit will be collected prior to installment of the meter.
The fees for a 1 inch meter are as follows:
Deposit = $450.00
Monthly Base Fee = $51.47
I acknowledge the fees above that will be charged for the hydrant meter and that the deposit must be paid with a credit card prior to installation of the meter.
I acknowledge responsibility for any damage to or theft of this meter and adapter. I agree to pay all bills upon receipt. Failure to pay within 45 days of issue will result in removal of the meter and forfeit of funds on deposit to cover all outstanding charges. The meter is to be installed, repaired, removed, or relocated by Gilbert personnel only.
